Personal Life ...

Rambod cared about his family a great deal and was particularly close to his mother.

Outside of work, Rambod was a sociable and easy-going person. He had a great sense of humour and could make friends wherever he went.

He always enjoyed spending time with people and was loved by his families and friends in New Zealand, Australia, Iran, Japan, Germany and Taiwan ... and the list continues.

At home, Rambod enjoyed cooking. Kebab, Kookoo Sabzi, Loobia Polo Safferani, and Persian Macaroni were among his favourite dishes.

In July 2017, Rambod and Beibei moved into a lifestyle block in rural Auckland. Since then, they had made a lot of changes to the property.

Rambod was thinking about a mini-project during the lockdown and what to do with this beautiful macrocarpa slab.

When away from the office, they enjoyed working on their small farm and caring for their fruit trees, vegetable gardens, dogs, sheep, chickens and bees.

Almost every day, Rambod and Beibei would take their dogs, Max and Milo, for a walk or bike along Quail Road.

One of Rambod’s favourite times of the day was the sunset and he had captured many shots of this special moment on Quail Haven.

Rambod also loved fishing. He completed a day skipper course in April 2021 and called himself a ‘captain’.
